How to Connect a GPS Tracker to Your Own Server
Point the tracker at your server IP and port, choose TCP/UDP, set the packet format, and your platform will receive location records directly.

To connect a GPS tracker to your own server, configure three things on the device: the destination server address (domain or IP), the listening port, and the transport (TCP or UDP). Set these via SMS, the config tool, or an SMS command, then ensure your server speaks the tracker's communication protocol. FOFN trackers document their protocol and work with Traccar, Flespi or any custom listener.
Server IP & Port Configuration
Example SMS: SERVER,1,<your_ip>,<port>,0 (TCP) or SERVER,0,<your_ip>,<port>,1 (UDP). The exact syntax depends on the model — see the protocol documentation. Open the port on your firewall and confirm the tracker can reach it.
Choose the Protocol
FOFN devices use an open binary/text protocol over TCP/UDP. Your server parses each record (IMEI, timestamp, lat/lon, speed, status). We provide the protocol spec and sample parsers for Traccar and Flespi.
Use Traccar or Flespi
If you do not want to build a listener, point the tracker at a Traccar or Flespi host. Both accept FOFN protocol out of the box, giving you a ready-made platform with maps, alerts and API.
